I chose “Faith is a Fine Invention”

 

The original poem:

 

“Faith” is a fine invention

For Gentlemen who see!

But Microscopes are prudent

In an Emergency!

 

My poem:

            

Faith is an absurd 

Delusion of 

Madmen and Wackywomen

Blinded by their belief!

Microscopes would be

Useless for 

Those who think 

Science contradicts 

Their prudish nature and 

Calls for absolution and aperitif!
