A Bear **** In the Woods
This was my first attempt at a Tricube poem in my Poetry Tastings class. It reminds me of a Haiku. It's 3 stanzas of 3 lines of 3 syllables each. Tricube!
The forest,
thick and lush.
A bear cub
scrounges trash
from a can,
she’s hungry!
Campers rouse,
sleepy eyed,
missed the cub.
